Deck Waterproofing & Leak Repair in the Bay Area
Waterproof decking, deck coatings, balcony waterproofing, and leaking deck repair for homes, HOAs, and commercial properties across the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Waterproofing Services We Offer
A deck that leaks is rarely just a surface problem. Water finds its way through seams, fasteners, and failed flashing into framing, living space, and structure below. The right fix depends on the existing deck assembly, drainage, and substrate condition — so we start by understanding what is actually there before recommending a system.
Waterproof Decking
Complete waterproof deck systems for new decks and full rebuilds — the membrane and drainage layer that keeps water out of the structure below.

Learn moreNot Every Leak Is a Coating Problem
A surface coating can renew a deck that is still structurally sound and properly detailed. It cannot fix a deck whose framing is rotted, whose drainage is blocked, or whose flashing was never installed correctly in the first place. Recommending a coating on a deck that has a deeper problem simply moves the leak somewhere else — and often makes it harder to find later.
That is why a proper evaluation looks at the whole assembly: the substrate, the drainage path, the condition of seams and fasteners, and whether water has already reached the structure below.
Waterproof Membranes
The continuous waterproof layer beneath the walking surface. These are part of a new build or full rebuild, and they are only as good as their seams, flashing, and drainage details.
Liquid-Applied Coatings
A seamless, poured or rolled coating that forms the waterproof layer on an existing, sound deck. Good for renewing protection when the underlying structure is intact.
Resurfacing Systems
A renewed walking surface that also rebuilds the waterproof layer — used when the surface has worn through but the deck itself is still worth restoring.
Residential, Commercial, and HOA Projects
Whether you are a homeowner with a single leaking balcony or a property manager coordinating waterproofing across dozens of units, the evaluation matters just as much. For larger properties we scope the work in phases, so repairs can be coordinated around tenants and building use.
